ABOUT US

The Community of Compassion CDC Inc., a 501(c)3 incorporated in 2001, helps to implement the vast number of holistic programs and initiatives developed to outreach, serve, and meet the needs of the community.  It is located at 6150 Cedar Avenue, in the 19143 in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  We are in the heart of the community, with the community at heart.  

Our mission is to better the community by developing and promoting self-sufficiency, educational, social, career and economic development.  To foster programs and enterprises which provide lasting employment opportunities and business development.  In addition, to providing basic needs for the community, such as food and housing.
